Thank you Steve for your comments on "Finding the Way", I'm pleased you liked it.

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

It is one of my favorite things to do. Building is building, the concept is the same, if your are building houses, boxes, fractals, or jewelry. Thank you so much. Your comment on Rose Among The Thorns has given me a big head. Hope it doesn't last long, as I have the flu right now, and don't need double the headache. LOL

Thanks for the kind words on "Persephone returns", Steve. I just checked the exif info out of interest - I quite often underexpose a little as it's easier to get detail from a dark area than a burnt out one, but this one was as the camera recommended :-)

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

haha...thanks Steve, for your humorous comments on Nobody's Fool...actually, the cat in the pic is not mine but a friends'...having said that, I must admit I do belong to a cat, currently a white one, but I have belonged to two others in my life, and they ALL trained me well.:Pat.
