My Blue Valentine Uploaded: 02/15/12 1:12 AM GMT

Image: My Blue Valentine

I am over a thousand miles away from my valentine this year which can make a person feel blue. This one is for my other half, you can't get a better woman than her.

There is no photoshop trickery here, the orchids were actually that blue.

Thanks for your comment on "Dartmoor", Piner. I didn't notice that tree at the time - when I saw it in the picture I wished I'd got a closer look. It's not somewhere we go very often, and we rarely go to the same area twice as the moor is so large, but if I do get back there I'll see what I can do....

LOL Tom, I have heard of that type of fishing as well...thanks for bringing that thought to mind. I may have to work around that idea to create another. Maybe raining cats and dogs or fish? Flying cows like in the movie "Twister" Thanks for the comment and inspiration:-)

I'm glad you liked "Sinner's Lament," the black and white gargoyle in my gallery. When I shot it, there were lots of small discolorations in the masonry of the cathedral, and it really didn't look very good, but when I converted it to B&W, they all disappeared! Thanks for your comment.

In response to either version of "Artopolis Times" and the "demented" typo...I realize that now..I checked it in the dictionary after posting the first one...In order to change that..I'd have to create a new title header in Illustrator (that's probably the only thing I DIDN'T create on that composition in Photoshop...although I may try a layerd patch and tweaking letters for a quick fix) I will have to re-download "Fare Hike" anyway...because of a typo ("Subay" instead of "Subway") But hey, thanks for letting me know! -Ron

Tom, thanks for the help on what type of bug that was on "Bugs"! I would have never guess that is what that bug was. Still extremely creepy!

Hi Tom

Thank you for the comment on peaceful path. I can see what you mean about the rubish bin on the wall. I will see if it can be removed without spoiling the picture.
Regards
Wolf.

Hi there Tom,

Thanks for leaving me a comment on Bad Moon Rising...I did tell my brother to get an account here but his internet wasn't working and apparently will be down for a few days. He is a little frustrated to say the least.

And how could we endure to live and let time pass if we were always crying for one day or one year to come back-if we did not know that every day in a life fills the whole life with expectation and memory and that these are that day? C.S. Lewis, Out of the Silent Planet
