Hi Jas, just to thank you for all your recent comments. Don't worry about thanking me or anyone else all the time, but as you will find out - the more friends you add the more time you spend thanking people - just know that I appreciate all your comments! :) There was recently a long message thread about whether to thank or not - and of course it is entirely up to the individual. I just want you to know that I appreciate all your comments, even if I do not thank you for them all. :) Patti

James, "Moon on the Trees 2" rework: yes, I like the post work better. However, Jen has now pointed out the dark trees, which on second look, I see have lost their detail in the shadows. Sooooooooo back to the artboard. I do like people to criticize my work publicly because (I HOPE) it helps others see what to look for and improve in their own photos. I've been away from photography for so many years that getting feedback at Caedes is really helping me to look at my own images much more carefully from many perspectives. Thanks for your comments and asking the question. anne :-)

Hi Jas, Thank you for your kind comment on Spider Daisies! I have Canon at the moment and it is horrible! Now and again it does something good, but usually it ruins even the best of Photos! I had MIra-Scan before and it was wonderful - did everything with cover on, or off! Unfortunately, when I went to Laptop and XP - it would not recognize my Mira, so I got this "paper copier" Canon! It is time for me to buy a camera, perhaps? I love your gallery - just downloaded Fishie..... ever so good photo!

Answer to Anne's question: I have never claimed to be a photographer. I do take a lot of pictures, some better than others. I'm happy if a photo stirs an emotion, provokes a thought or pleases the viewer. When I view any of my photos,(no matter how blurry, and yes I keep almost all) they let me relive the moment. The more time goes by, the more I wish they had invented digital earlier. I had taken rolls and rolls of film I never developed and lot of prints I have lost track of. Jas
